Vision & Mission.
We envision a world where discovery, learning, and protection are fundamental to the balance of nature, and we put the people doing that work, in the field, at the centre of the frame.
Discover. Learn. Protect.
These are the three pillars we value most, and each one excites us in a different way. We love the discovering, we are endlessly curious in the learning, and we are here for the protecting.

Discover
We love going where the wild still hides, the marsh at dawn, the reef, the city park, and sharing what we find along the way.
Explore stories
Learn
We make sense of what we find, science-led and plainly told, blending traditional ecological knowledge with modern research.

Protect
Honest, unhurried storytelling is how we hope to help people care, and then act on what they have come to care about.

What guides us
Six commitments hold every Untold story to the same standard.
- Respect
- For the wild, and for the people who live alongside it. We ask first, we credit always, and we never take more than the story needs.
- Integrity
- We tell what we find, not what performs. No staged shots, no doom for clicks, no claim we cannot stand behind.
- Collaboration
- Every story is made with the field worker, the guide, the scientist. The people closest to the work hold the frame.
- Curiosity
- We chase the small, overlooked question wherever it leads, because the answer is almost always where the untold stories live.
- Stewardship
- Noticing is where protection begins. We tell the patient story so people come to care, and then to act.
- Knowledge
- Science, plainly told and freely shared, rigorous without the jargon, made for any age, never gated behind a paywall.

A collective impact for our planet
Untold Wildlife is a community of photographers, scientists, conservationists, and writers scattered across the world. Some track turtles up a Kenyan beach by torchlight; some count barn owls in a Dutch nest box. What we share is the conviction that showing the wild honestly is itself an act of protection.
