Emma Bruscoli

An advocate for wildlife and conservation since childhood, Emma Bruscoli is driven by a lifelong mission to protect and preserve the natural world. Combining hands-on experience in the field and a deep passion for education, she currently works at the Jane Goodall Institute in Italy, where she develops educational projects for children to raise awareness and inspire action for ape conservation. Convinced that the power of change lies in the new generation, Emma also collaborated with the JGI Roots & Shoots Global to build an online Youth Summit focused on empowering and amplifying young voices to take action. Emma's journey has taken her across different countries, including South Africa, where she worked on the frontlines of rhino conservation, focusing on horn trimming operations to combat poaching. This experience further deepened her commitment to protecting endangered species and ecosystems. She is an alumna of the National Geographic x The Nature Conservancy internship, where she focused on Marine & Community conservation, developing a project on loggerhead sea turtles in the Adriatic that bridged science, storytelling, and community engagement. Driven by hope and grounded in a One Health approach, Emma focuses on the intersectionality between animals, people and the planet in every project she works on, determined to dedicate her life to conservation and inspired by the incredible women who paved the way.
